CALL FOR THE AAAI TRACK
=======================

AAMAS 2024 – The 23rd Int. Conf. on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems

Date: 6-10 May 2024
Location: Auckland, New Zealand

See this call on the AAMAS 2024 website:
https://www.aamas2024-conference.auckland.ac.nz/calls/aaai-track/

==

AAMAS-24 is inviting submissions to its new AAAI track. We are looking for AAAI-23 submissions rejected from the main AAAI track that are relevant to the AAMAS research community and received *no reject review recommending*. Authors are expected to update their manuscripts to address the comments of the AAAI reviewers and reformat them in AAMAS style. All submitted material will be checked for correctness with AAAI and reviewed by members of the AAMAS program committee. We expect to accept only a fraction of the submitted manuscripts and will provide (only) short meta-reviews to explain the accept/reject decisions.

All accepted papers will be published by the International Foundation for Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (IFAAMAS) and be openly available to everyone from the IFAAMAS website. The papers will be published under a CC-BY license which allows the authors to upload their papers to any repository. To maximize the reach of the papers, they will also be included in the ACM Digital Library.

== Important Dates ==

* Submission deadline: January 8, 2024 (at 23:59 Anywhere on earth)
* Decisions: February 15, 2024
* Camera-ready deadline: February 28, 2024

== Submission Requirements ==

The AAMAS submission must be based on a rejected AAAI-23 submission:
* that was submitted to the main AAAI track;
* that received at most one review recommending a weak reject and otherwise only reviews recommending weak accepts or better; and
* that is relevant to the AAMAS research community.

The guidelines for the main AAMAS-24 track (https://www.aamas2024-conference.auckland.ac.nz/calls/submission-instruction) apply with the exceptions given below.

Authors must submit in *one pdf document*:
* their original AAAI submission;
* all AAAI review scores and reviews (including the meta-review);
* the AAMAS submission (that is, the updated AAAI submission), in the same format and with the same restrictions as were required for submissions to the main AAMAS-24 track but with all changes highlighted in color (for example, using red text or text highlighted in yellow);
* an at most two-page long document that describes how the AAMAS submission addresses the comments of the AAAI reviewers; and
* a short statement of why the submission is relevant for the AAMAS research community, together with one of the 11 areas of interest (listed at the URL above) that describes the AAMAS submission.

The publication of the 2-page extended abstracts is not an option for this track.
