Dear colleagues,

since closing down our Event at CIG list, we got numerous requests and
encouraging emails not to give up on it. More than 100 people emailed us
or contacted us personally.

We therefore decided to send one more email to all of you (and this
will certainly be the last one for the old event list).

Those of you who are interested to use our service, please do actively
subscribe to our new list. We set up a new Event at CIG list on the address
event at tu-clausthal.de (please notice that the old
event at in.tu-clausthal.de will be removed in the next few days).

* SUBSCRIPTION
For subscribing to our list, please send an e-mail to
event-subscribe at tu-clausthal.de with subject "subscribe".

Shortly you will receive a request for confirmation of your e-mail
address to which you should reply and your e-mail address finally will
be registered.


* SOME FEATURES OF THE NEW LIST:
- it is moderated by the CI-group in Clausthal (the very final decision
  in case of doubt goes to Prof. Juergen Dix),
- we send emails only to those who subscribed,
- we will not send emails through other mailing lists (so that you
  should receive each announcement only once, unless an administrator of
  some list you are member of explicitely asked for subscription in
  Event at CIG list),
- we will send out CFP's, workshop announcements, conference
  announcements ***that are related to logic, formal methods in computer
  science and agent/multi-agent systems***
- only those who have subscribed can send these announcements, but the
  list is still moderated and we reserve a right to decide whether
  a posting is relevant for the list or not,
- subscription to the list means that you accept these rules,
- there will be no spam, should you consider some announcements spam,
  please do unsubscribe to the list and do not send us insulting emails.
