WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
ROBONTICS 2021 is the second edition of a workshop series aimed at the
discussion and dissemination of research in robot autonomy based on
knowledge-driven approaches, and in particular on formal ontologies.
ROBONTICS is open to the different communities working in the fields of
robotics, ontology, and knowledge representation and reasoning, and
provides the right environment to foster communication and to strengthen
interdisciplinary work. In particular, ROBONTICS welcomes research and
application-driven works where knowledge-driven approaches are used to
overcome open problems in robotics. Reviews of work in progress in this
area are also welcome.
ROBONTICS is interested in research areas such as (see webpage for more
details)
Foundations
Robustness
Ontologies in the perception-action loop
Interactivity
Normed behavior
Explainability
IMPORTANT DATES
Submission deadline: July 9th, 2021
Notification: August 10th, 2021
Camera ready: August 23rd, 2021
Workshop: September 2021 (exact date to be announced)
SUBMISSION INFORMATION
Papers presenting initial or ongoing research are welcome; so are
position and survey papers delineating robotics problems and/or
discussing the suitability of knowledge engineering approaches to solve
such problems.
All the contributions to the workshop must be submitted according to the
CEUR-Art format available from http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip.
Submitted papers must have 10-12 pages for long papers, or 5-6 pages for
short papers (not including references).
Papers must be submitted electronically in PDF, using this link:
