CRASH: Development of a high precision reconstruction system designed to be used in a professional simulation environment related with real crash events

We are starting a new project funded by the PORTUGAL 2020, namely through the POCI Competitiveness Operational Program and Internationalization (COMPETE 2020). The project is entitled CRASH - Development of a high precision reconstruction system designed to be used in a professional simulation environment related with real crash events - and offers 1 Post-Doctoral + 1 PhD position in the areas of Computer Sciences and related areas.



Successful candidates should have a strong background in Computer Science. Good knowledge of programming (preferably python), data analysis, and machine learning/deep learning techniques are required.



The selected applicant will work as part of the CRASH project, participating in the development of the different systems that will constitute the CRASH project solution, including data analysis and design of the models to be integrated in the solution, development of road traffic accident models using machine learning/deep learning techniques and construction of prototypes of the solution.
