The 10th annual conference of the Carl Stumpf Society (CSG) will be held at the Institute of Music and Musicology of TU Dortmund from 01 to 03 September 2023. The theme of the conference is:

	LOGIC
	philosophical - psychological - mathematical - informatic

BACKGROUND
In his epistemology ("Erkenntnislehre"), Stumpf distinguishes between *universal axioms* or logical principles on the one hand and *regional axioms* or phenomenological principles on the other hand. The thus determined, phenomenologically shaped logic concept shall be the focus of the annual conference and shall be compared with other, also current, logic concepts.

CALL FOR PAPERS
The Carl Stumpf Society invites papers on the significance of the different logic concepts for the process of cognition in general and for the different scientific disciplines in particular. It is appreciated if the contributions show a relation to Carl Stumpf's epistemology.

In the context of the conference, students will be given the opportunity in a separate section to talk about their thesis - any topic - including the field of systematic musicology.

The presentations can be given in German or English. In justified exceptional cases online lectures are also possible.
