 From June 25-28, 2024, the German Center for Scalable Data Analytics 
and Artificial Intelligence (ScaDS.AI) Dresden/Leipzig will host its 
10th International Summer School on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big 
Data in Leipzig, Germany.

The Summer School offers a rich 4-day program with international 
experts, highlight presentations of German AI competence centers, and 
numerous opportunities for exchange. The program is aimed at graduate 
and undergraduate students, researchers and practitioners in the fields 
of Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence and Big Data and 
focuses on five main topics selected from research at ScaDS.AI 
Dresden/Leipzig:
  - ML/Generative AI
  - Responsible AI
  - Mathematical Foundations of AI
  - Earth and Environmental Sciences and AI
  - Protein Technology and AI

The use of AI will be made visible and tangible in several sessions. We 
have invited internationally renowned experts to provide insights into 
the latest developments in research. Participants will be offered a wide 
range of opportunities for scientific exchange and collaboration. In 
addition, social activities include a city tour, dinner in a traditional 
restaurant up to dragon boating together, thereby creating further 
occasions for networking and interaction.
