Call for paper for SDM25 Doctoral Forum

Dear Colleagues,

We invite PhD students in data science (including data mining, machine
learning, databases, and pattern recognition) to participate in the SDM25
Doctoral Student Forum at the 2025 SIAM International Conference on Data
Mining (SDM25), taking place in Alexandria, Virginia, U.S., on May 1–3,
2025.

About the Doctoral Forum
The SDM Doctoral Student Forum provides an excellent platform for PhD
students to:
* Present their doctoral research (ongoing or future work) in poster format.
* Receive valuable feedback from SDM participants and senior experts.
* Network with leading researchers and potential collaborators.
* Compete for the Doctoral Forum Best Poster Award.

Additionally, an early career event will be organized to offer insights and
advice for graduate students and early-career professionals.

Key Dates
* Application Deadline: March 2, 2025
* Notification of Acceptance: March 16, 2025
* Doctoral Forum Date: Tentatively May 2, 2025

We welcome both senior and junior PhD students, whether you have a
well-defined dissertation or are in the early stages and seeking feedback.

Student Travel Support
Limited travel funding is available for students from U.S.-based
institutions who are accepted to the Doctoral Forum.
Note: Students may apply for both SIAM and SDM Doctoral Forum travel
support, but can receive funding from only one source.
