Overview
========

The RTSEMS (RealTime Service oriented and EMbedded Systems), addresses
the modelling, implementation and assessment of real time and embedded
services in software systems. Real-time and embedded services form the
backbone of critical applications where timing, reliability, and
resource efficiency are paramount. Real-time services, provided by
components like Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), task schedulers,
and interrupt handlers, ensure tasks are completed within strict
deadlines, making them essential in fields such as aerospace,
automotive, and industrial automation. Embedded services, including
device drivers, middleware, and security services, optimize hardware
interaction and safeguard operations within resource-constrained
environments, prevalent in consumer electronics, healthcare, and home
automation. Together, these services facilitate seamless integration,
robust performance, and dependable functionality, enabling the
creation of sophisticated systems that drive innovation and maintain
operational excellence across diverse technological landscapes. The
2nd edition of the RTSEMS Workshop will be held by Redcad Laboratory,
University of Sfax, in Shenzhen, China, at the 1st of December,
2025. It is one of the workshops of the 23rd International Conference
on Service Oriented Computing (ICSOC'2025,
https://icsoc2025.hit.edu.cn/).

Submission and Publication
==========================

The conference solicits outstanding original research and practice
papers on all aspects of real-time and embedded systems. Papers should
clearly demonstrate the research or practical contribution, the
relevance to the field, and the relationship to prior work. Two kinds
of papers can be submitted:

- Research papers: 12-page limit, describing original and novel
research work, including research results and evaluations. The papers
may present the ongoing research, novel ideas with preliminary
results, advances of the state of the art, analysis of the current
results in the state of the art or state of the practice, or
  experience in implementing the theories.

- Industry papers: 8-page limit, This track will be an opportunity for
people associated with industry and academia to present their novel
ideas while attracting funding and/or further expand
collaborations. An important criterion for papers to be submitted to
the Industry Track is a clear industrial association, either in the
form of an extensive evaluation of research results in industrial
use cases or active participation of industry representatives as
  co-authors.

Papers should be formatted according to Springer's LNCS Formatting
Guidelines. Submissions must be in English and must not exceed the
above mentioned limit pages (including abstract, figures and
references). Each paper must be submitted on or before the provided
deadlines. The final submission should be formatted according to
Springer's LNCS Camera ready instructions. All papers must be
submitted electronically, as PDF file, using the Easychair platform:
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icsoc2025 then by selecting
"Workshop on RealTime Service oriented and EMbedded Systems" track.

If any problem arises when submitting your paper, please contact:
wafa.gabsi at redcad.org

Paper Review
============

Each paper will be reviewed by at least three members of the
international program committee for ensuring high quality. Paper
acceptance will be based on originality, significance, technical
soundness, and clarity of presentation.

All accepted papers will be included in the workshop proceedings
published as part of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS)
series of Springer.

At least one author of an accepted paper must register and participate
in the workshop. Registration is subject to the terms, conditions and
procedure of the main ICSOC conference to be found on their website:
https://icsoc2025.hit.edu.cn/
