Call for Participation – Sixth Nordic Logic Summer School (NLSS 2026) 
Copenhagen, August 17th-20th 2026

We invite everyone interested in logic and its interface with philosophy, mathematics, computer science, and AI to participate in the Nordic Logic Summer School. The intended audience is advanced master students, PhD-students, post-docs and experienced researchers wishing to learn the state of the art in a particular subject. As usual, this year we have an exciting lineup of five lecturers on a wide spectrum of topics.

Final NLSS 2026 Programme:
- Bahareh Afshari (University of Gothenburg, SE): Temporal Logics in Computer Science
- Vaishak Belle (Edinburgh University, UK): Logic meets Learning: Explanations and LLM-based symbolic executors
- Patrik Blackburn (Roskilde University, DK): Worlds, Times and Things
- Gaia Belardinelli (Stanford University, USA): Formal Models of Attention
- Balder ten Cate (University of Amsterdam, NL): Logic, Data Examples and Learning

Schedule:
The school is 4-day long (Mon-Thu) with classes scheduled from 9am until 6pm.

Important dates: 
New registration deadline: 24 July 2026
NLSS 2026: 17–20 August 2026

Registration fees:
MSc and PhD students: 1000 dkk (~130 eur)
Non-student academics: 1500 dkk (~200 eur)
Non-academics : 2000 dkk (~270 eur)
(The fees cover coffee breaks, lunches, and snacks, but do not cover travel and accommodation)

Credits:
MSc and PhD students can apply to obtain 2.5 ECTS points for attending the Summer School. The formal requirements for credits are: suitable prerequisites in logic, attending all the lectures, and submitting a final report on a topic related to one of the courses. Please indicate your interest in ECTS in the registration form.
